Welcome to this recently renovated waterfront duplex on Chocorua Lake in Tamworth, NH. This beautiful duplex will comfortably sleep 8 people with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The main level of this unit has a terrific open concept design, perfect for entertaining and quality time. The kitchen includes stainless steel appliance, granite counter tops and all the basic essentials needed to create a delicious home cooked meal. The spacious living room and dining area are accented with charming gas fireplace and beautiful picture windows that look out to the large grassy yard and lake. The main level also includes a full bath and deck with table and chairs. The lower level offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The first bedroom has a queen bed (sleeps 2), the second bedroom has 2 twin size bunk beds (sleeps 4) and the master bedroom offers a king size bed (sleeps 2) with private master bath. The lower level also includes the 3rd full bath as well as washing machine and dryer.

BONUS LOCK OUT: For an additional nightly rate you can reserve a charming cabin just steps from the main house. This cabin is perfect for up to two people with queen bed, fridge, microwave, Keurig and full bathroom with shower. If interested in this bonus cabin, please contact us directly for a quote. Cabin can only be rented in addition to main rental unit.

The house sits on 5 wooded acres with shared outdoor space including clay tennis court and water frontage on Chocorua Lake with large dock. For added convenience, the owners have provided guests with 3 single person kayaks (shared) to enjoy on the lake during the warmer seasons. Frank Bolles Nature Preserve is close by, where you can enjoy hiking and biking trails as well as swimming, picnicking and fishing (license required). If you are looking for a little New England charm, we would suggest taking a ride down Main Street to the Tamworth Lyceum for a great lunch or catch a show at the Barnstormers Theater. The property is 17 miles from North Conway, NH and about 30 miles from Meredith, NH on Lake Winnipesaukee.

***This property is a duplex with only one side available for rental and the other side is owner occupied. Outdoor space and kayaks are shared amenities.***

Lower Level: Bedroom with queen bed(sleeps 2), bedroom with 2 sets of twin size bunk beds (sleeps 4), full bath with washer and dryer, master bedroom with king bed (sleeps 2) and full bath.

For your convenience, linens and towels are provided. Additionally, 3 one person kayaks are supplied during the warmer seasons for guests to enjoy.

Check in may take place between 4:00pm - 9:00pm. Check out is 10:00am, sorry, no late check outs.

  We booked a last minute stay with our family of 5 for unit 1. We are a very picky family when it comes to comfort and cleanliness and we breathed a sigh of relief as soon as we opened the door. The house was very clean, modern and kitchen well stocked. The lake was just down a short path with 2 kayaks that my boys loved to take out or just swim off the dock. The firepit had wood available to use and the bbq ready to go with gas. It was nice to have the laundry in house to do. Wifi was spotty but the owner tried hard to get it fixed with the company but company couldn't come until after we left to fix the problem. Owners stayed in the other unit while we were there and were very sweet and helpful. My kids liked playing tennis. Only suggestion we would offer is to put clocks in the bedrooms because we had no idea what time it was when we woke at night or morning. The beds were very comfortable! If ever in the area again, we would stay here.
