Welcome to "Sandy Bottoms Beach House", a spacious and peaceful waterfront home on Big Pea Porridge Pond in Madison, NH with 4 bedrooms, 4 baths and sleeping for up to 8 people.
As you enter into this lovely home, you are greeted by the open concept living space that includes a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, dining area, living room with cozy sectional sofa and beautiful brick fireplace and a full bath. Also on the main level are two spacious bedrooms, the first with a full bed and twin bed, the second is a master suite with full bed and twin bed and a bathroom with shower. Upstairs you will find a spacious loft with sitting area with TV, 2 bedrooms each with a full bed and twin size bunk bed and a full bathroom. The finished walkout basement offers a great family room with TV, ping pong table, pool table and bathroom. From the lower level you can access the back yard which leads out to the lovely waterfront on Big Pea Porridge Pond. Here you will find a partially sandy beach, outdoor fire pit, 2 one person kayaks, and 3 youth kayaks (150 pound max). The beach offers southern exposure and is mostly sunny throughout the day (weather pending of course). The house also features a large deck that looks out over the pond, perfect for star gazing at night or enjoying a delightful cup of coffee in the morning.   The home was spacious and had lots of options for our extended family vacation with ages from 4 to 92. We took advantage of the kayaks on the pond and the pool table in the basement. Courtney at Select real estate and the owner were very responsive and quickly addressed a couple of issues on our first day there. It is a beautiful spot to spend with family on the pond. Would definitely return again!

  We loved staying at the Sandy Bottoms Beach House. The view is absolutely wonderful. The house is very roomy and comfortable. It has all the comforts of home. The location is close to town but far enough away to be private. The realty office were very helpful. We would be happy to stay here again.

  We stayed in the house for Memorial Day weekend. House is very clean, convenient and spacious enough for the party of 8 adults. Location on the lake is magnificent. In case you get few rainy days there are plenty of games to keep everybody busy. Thank you, thoughtful owners.

  The home was as expected based on the photos - spacious, open-layout, clean. Location was great for exploring skiing and winter hiking in the Mt. Washington area. Lake was beautiful to look at and we did some XC skiing on it! Two main cons: lack of linens and towels (even lack of bathmats, something I've never had to deal with in a rental before!) and having to go to the rental office to get door code and sign additional paperwork. Would have been nice to have a later check out too - 10am is the earliest I've seen.

  The weather wasn't the best but the house and property saved the vacation! The house had plenty of room for large and small gatherings. We did puzzles, games, played pool and ping pong, floated and kayaked in the pond.
  Loved the family pictures on the wall that told the story of how special this place has been for generations. We could hear the echo of children playing tag, swimming, fishing and just snuggling with a good book by the fireplace.
